The content of helium and molecular hydrogen dissolved in ice cores extracted from the borehole 5G over the lake "Vostok" was investigated. Cores lifted up from the depths of 3596-3699 meters. Gas samples collected as the product of ice degasation during three days after core lifted. As a result of diffusion during this time as most of the helium and hydrogen is released from the core into the sample container. To reduce the pressure of the background gases sealed container with a core samples previously evacuated. Analysis of samples was carried out by TOF mass spectrometry. The detected concentration of hydrogen in the ice is at 3 mkM per liter of ice, while helium concentration of about 0.53 mkM/l. The obtained values by several orders of magnitude higher than the equilibrium concentration of helium and hydrogen in meteoric ice (for helium - 0.01-0.02 mM / l, hydrogen-0.001-0.002 mkM / l)
