Intermetallic LaRu2Ga3 was synthesized by arc melting of the elemental components with subsequent annealing at 600ºC. The crystal structure was determined from X-ray single-crystal diffraction data. The new intermetallics LaRu2Ga3 crystallizes in orthorhombic system, Pnma space group (No. 62), Z = 4, and presents new structural type. The parameters of the unit cell are: a = 12.0750(12) Å, b = 5.8276(6) Å, c = 6.2391(6) Å. The structure of LaRu2Ga3 compound could be presented as nets built of Ru and Ga atoms with infinite voids directed along b axis and periodically filled with La atoms.
