At the first stage of research a gyroscope compartment and spherical imitator of the rotating rotor in the form of the 30 mm diameter sphere have been fabricated, montaged with the SQUID in the deep stick with a lead shield inside a plastic helium cryostat. Seven two-winding coils were placed at the surface of the rotor in the range 0 – 90 angle degrees. Two variants of the read-out design have been tested: in the former a SQUID magnetometer pick-up loop was placed at the diameter of imitator of the rotor that was similar to realization [1], in the latter the pick-up loop was placed outside of the imitator with the aim to test possibility to realize the 3-axis read-out scheme from one rotor. In the first case values of transfer function К in the range 0.01 – 0.0016 Ф0/arc second depending on the magnitude of the angle between the test coil and pick-up loop has been obtained. In the second case when the pick up loop was placed at the altitude of 6 mm apart a polar zone of the imitator values of K almost of two orders of magnitude less were found. During experiments a SQUID read-out demonstrated sensitivity close to 1 fT/Hz1/2 and 0.23 nT/Ф0 field to flux transfer factor at frequencies higher than 100 Hz. 1.
