The excess of carbon dioxide emissions caused by anthropogenic factors poses a serious danger to the environment: it is associated with the acidification of the oceans and global climate change [1]. Despite this, the current dynamics of greenhouse gas emissions is not improving, which is an urgent task for the capture and disposal of CO2 . One of the ways of carbon dioxide utilization is its catalytic hydrogenation into hydrocarbons of various structures, including methanol, which is a promising product for further synthesis of various organic compounds [2]. One of the most commonly used catalysts for the hydrogenation of carbon dioxide into methanol are Cu/ZnO systems, often with Al2O3 in the composition. Among the promoters of such catalysts, oxides CeO2 and ZrO2 are used.
