Matrix isolation is a widely used experimental technique for spectroscopic investigations on structure, dynamics and reactivity of transient species generated by the action of light and ionizing radiation. In particular, this method can be applied for studying the mechanisms of the radiation-driven processes occurring in the Earth and planetary upper atmospheres, as well as in interstellar media (ISM). Water and carbon dioxide molecules are among the most important molecules for atmospheric chemistry and astrochemistry. In this work we first studied the radiation-induced processes in the noble gas (Ng) matrices doped simultaneously with H2O and CO2 focusing on dynamics and reactions of radiolytic O- and H-atoms in low-temperature solids as well as on reaction pathways for other radiolysis products.
