Many publications of the Black-Glazed pottery from sites of different types, which are situated on the European Bosporus (Panticapaeum and the settlements of the Crimean Azov, in particular) have been done recently. It gives us an opportunity to reveal the main features of Attic Black-Glazed import into this region in comparison with other Black Sea states. Imports of such ceramics from Attica to the Northern Black Sea region started in the middle of the 6th century BC, the time, when they began to produce this tableware regulary. It prevails here over all other Greek centers more than twice. Comparison of Attic Black-Glazed complex with pottery from other centers allows us to assume that Bosporians probably followed the Attic traditions and innovations in cooking and consumption of food. We can talk about the delay of regular supplies of certain types of vessels compared with the beginning of their production and the beginning of use in other parts of the ancient world. As well as in other antique states of the Northern Black Sea region there can be traced significant difference in the number and variety of types of vessels between urban and rural settlements, where the set of tableware is significantly poorer and simpler. It is obvious that such ceramics penetrated to a chora vicariously, via the major centers. There are a small number of vessels, which were produced only in one of Attic workshops, as well as ritual vessels, rarely found outside of Attica found. This makes it possible to ask the question of the ways of their getting to the Bosporus. Could they be a subject of trade or were personal belongings of travelers arriving on the Bosporus (settlers, traders, etc.)?
