For last 10 years it was appeared a lot of possibilities for professional development in Russia due to availabilities of complementory training programmes for adults. First of all it's related with new professional standards. Professional standards for majority types of activities have been designed and entered at the beginning of 2016. There are requirements to the level of basic education and/or advanced training in every standard. We have made the analysis of current trends in the field of complementary education in Russia based on data of website http://as-dpe.mon.gov.ru.).The quantity of organizations having the right to realized ATP (advanced training programms) was increased. Before 2013 ATP were realized mainly by universities, in 2014-2015th –by specialized colleges for workers and by specialized institutes and centers of professional development, information and methodical city and municipalities centers.
