Magnetophotonic crystals (MPCs) support Bloch surface waves (BSWs) and waveguided modes (WGMs) propagation. The correct choice of the MPC parameters gives the way to observe the s-polarized BSW and p-polarized WGM of magnetophotonic crystal in the same spectral region. It is shown numerically and experimentally that if such resonances are spectrally close they can influence each other undergoing an external magnetic field. The Faraday rotation spectra demonstrate the Fano-shape resonance depending on coupling of the BSW with the WGM mode. The view of the resonance gives a way to determine the mutual spectral position of the BSW and WGM resonances.
