The invention relates to medicine, specifically dentistry, and more particularly relates to the production of a dental implant. The claimed implant is produced from titanium or a titanium alloy by means of milling a blank, cleaning same and forming a microroughened surface. The resultant titanium screw implant is treated in an ultrasonic bath with a solution containing an aqueous solution of SBF artificial blood plasma (in a ratio of 1-10:1) and soda ash activator, the latter being added when the ultrasonic (apparatus) bath is in operation in an amount of 0.001-1.0 mg per 50 ml of solution. The ultrasonic oscillation frequency is selected in a range of from 10 kHz to 100 kHz, and the treatment time is 5-10 seconds. Amorphous seeds of hydroxylapatite are formed on the surface of the titanium implant. The implant is removed from the bath, washed with normal saline to remove traces of the SBF artificial blood plasma solution, placed in a capsule filled with isotonic saline, packaged, and stored in said capsule until time for use. The invention provides for the simplified production of a titanium or titanium alloy implant with new bone tissue grown from hydroxylapatite using an aqueous solution of SBF artificial blood plasma. The invention provides extended shelf life and service life. The implant can reliably be installed in patients having a damaged bone structure and impaired bone regeneration.
