Аннотация:The article is devoted to chemical synthesis and study of physico-chemical properties of nanocomposites formed from gold nanoparticles and graphene oxide derivatives. Various reducing agents were used to obtain reduced graphene oxide. Morphology, phase composition, and optical properties of the obtained nanocomposites were characterized by XRD, thermal analysis, TEM, UV-Vis and Raman spectroscopy. The best ability for conjugation with gold nanoparticles was demonstrated by graphene oxide reduced by cisteine and urea: each of these reducing agents contains two functional groups which form covalent bond with gold atoms.
It was shown that the main factors responsible for enhancement of Raman signal from analyte are: resonance absorption by gold nanoparticles in the region close to the wavelength of the exciting laser and increase of the average size of ordered domains in the materials formed from reduced graphene oxide. The most efficient reducing agents for graphene oxide are urea derivatives. Reaction with these substances decreases the number of carboxy groups and increases the number of nitrogen-containing groups on surface of graphene-based material which leads to better conjugation of gold nanoparticles.
