Аннотация:The influence of recreation on soil-dwelling collembolans (springtails) was studied in coniferous and deciduous forests (the Republic of Mordovia) being at different succession stages. Groups of collembolan species with sensitive and tolerant responses to trampling are distinguished. Degradation of the collembolan community due to recreation is shown to take place differently in pioneer and climax ecosystems.
