Аннотация:The results of experimental studies on the influence of an inhomogeneous magnetic field on the nature of the ignition and combustion of an air—propane mixture in a supersonic flow that is initiated by a longitudinal—transverse dc discharge are presented. It is shown that the nature of a mixture-combustion regime strongly depends on the orientation of the magnetic field with respect to both the direction of the discharge current and the flow-velocity vector.
