Аннотация:Strong electron compressibility prevents the development of the tearing instability in plasma formations with strongly curved magnetic fields. However, this stability effect is largely diminished due to the phenomenon of deterministic chaos. This is due to the boundary between the regions of chaotic and regular motion that may work like the cherenkov cone for the potential component of a tearing perturbation.
