Аннотация:Soil toxicity is evaluated in various ecotopes near the city of Elektrougli, Moscow oblast, according to data of a short-term root biotest with Latuca sativa. Correlation of toxicity with the main properties of the soil and the content of some polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons is analyzed. It is revealed that phytotoxicity is characterized by close direct correlation with the content of light fluorene and inverse correlation with the content of organic carbon. There is a direct correlation between the content of heavy polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and organic carbon and between light naphthalene and finely dispersed fractions.
