Аннотация:The structure of soil collembolan communities was investigated in lime plantations along the
gradient of their simplification from natural forests to single trees in urban areas. In comparison with forests, the species composition of Collembola is significantly higher under urban conditions due to the appearance of meadow, compost and ruderal forms. Thus, collembolan communities with "unnatural" combinations of these ecological groups are forming and these can sometimes be rather stable. The extended spectrum of ecological groups among Collembola can be considered as an indicator of the process of the tree stands' degradation in urban conditions in comparison with their natural analogues.
