Аннотация:On example of paraffin conversion the catalytic properties of promoted aluminum chloride at low temperatures (170-230 K) under conditions of limited molecular mobility are investigated. For the first time it is found that depending on promoter (alkyl halogenide or transition metal salt) alkane transformation proceeds with two different mechanisms. Nontrivial path of paraffin conversion is revealed, leading to formation of alkanes with normal structure with less by one number of carbon atoms.
