Аннотация:Solutions of associating telechelics are considered using the diagram technique. Equations for the critical concentration of gelation ρcrand other characteristics of the system are obtained under the assumption that the end groups of telechelics associate into twofold and threefold junctions and the macromolecules formed consist of blocks of only loop or treelike structure. It is shown that, if the constant of formation of threefold junctions w is arbitrarily small but finite, then the value of ρcr increases by a factor of 2 as compared to the classical Jackobson-Stockmayer result for loops. With increasing w, the number-average size of telechelics in macromolecules formed increases, while the dimensions of treelike and loop fragments in macromolecules and the value of ρcr decrease.
