Аннотация:An anomalous scattering of electrons near the structural phase transition in PbTe1-xSx was investigated. In the samples with x=0.05, the phase transition temperature Tc remained fixed when the electron concentration n was changed by two orders of magnitude, whereas the scattering anomaly \Delta\rho decreased systematically with n. The appearance of the anomalous scattering near Tc is explained by the carrier scattering on the preordered impurity clusters (S is an off-center impurity). The changes in the shape of the \Delta\rho(T) curves observed at x~0.2 was explained by the appearance of an infinite percolation cluster. The quenching phenomena revealed at the rapid cooling of the samples can be caused by freezing of non-equilibrium cluster configurations. The influence of donor (In, Cd, Cu, Sb) and isovalent (Sn, Ge) impurities on the phase transition in PbTe1-xSx was also studied.
