Аннотация:A cubic hydride YNi2H2.88 with a unit cell parameter doubled compared to that of the C15 Laves phase was synthesized. The thermal dissociation of this hydride was studied by DTA, DSC, and X-ray powder diffraction. An irreversible transition (preceding hydrogenolisis) was discovered, which resulted in an amorphous phase (presumably, yttrium hydride) and a hydride of an yttrium-deficient intermetallic compound (IMC) with the C15 Laves structure.
