Аннотация:It was investigated two types of samples in the synthesis of which fluorine-containing reagents were used. As a result of completely different synthesis, the same result was obtained - fluorine replaced oxygen in a titanium dioxide lattice. Although fluorine is a non-paramagnetic center, however, the recharge of titanium in its nearest environment leads to the appearance of a fluorine-containing paramagnetic complex (Ti4+−F−Ti3+). F-doped samples are promising for photocatalysis, because due to impurity absorption, the samples become photoactive in the visible range of the spectrum. In addition, the recharge of these paramagnetic centers can significantly affect the efficiency of photocatalysis. This question requires further study.
