Аннотация:The distribution of potential in electroactive polymeric films localized between solution and metal is analyzed. Specific dependences of equilibrium characteristics of such systems on the composition of the adjacent solution and the electrode polarization are due to the existence in such films of three types of charge carriers, i.e., cations, anions, and electrons. To obtain conclusions about the nature of charge carriers in the modifying film and about the ratio of their concentration in the film, the data on the dependence of the total capacitance of a system, comprising a modified electrode and solution, on the electrode polarization seem to be the most informative. Taking into consideration the dependences obtained in this work in the practice of investigations of modified electrodes makes it possible to refine their real physical picture.
