Аннотация:The effect of hydrogen (H) on the thermal expansion and magnetostriction in rare-earth intermetallics with iron was studied. The thermal expansion and magnetostriction were measured by the applied strain gauge method in the temperature range from 77 to 400 K and magnetic fields up to 13 kOe. It was found that the incorporation of H led to increase of distance between magnetoactivity ions and induced a significant change in magnetoelastic properties.
