Аннотация:The effect of hydrogen and nitrogen insertions on the magnetic anisotropy and spin-reorientation transitions of RFe11 Ti compounds have been studied. The obtained results are discussed on the basis of a model taking into account the interaction of the quadrupolar moment of the 4f rare earth ion shell with the electric field gradient produced not only by the charges of the ambient atom, but probably by the redistribution of states in the valence shells of the rare-earth ions and the conduction electron density. It is shown that the insertion of hydrogen and nitrogen atoms into the crystalline lattice of rare earth compounds provides control of both magnitude and sign of the magnetic anisotropy constants.
