Аннотация:The fine structure of the antennal chemoreceptors of the human louse Pediculus humanus corporis de Geer (Pediculidae, Anoplura)
On the antenna of the human louse P. h. corporis we found pore organs (sensillum placodeum), tuft organs and trichoid blunt-tiped and sharp-tiped sensillae. The number, size and distribution on the antenna of each type have been recorded. Tactile hairs are present on all of the antennal segments, The tactile hairs is innervated by a single bipolar sensory cells. It was shown that the taste hairs (sensillae trichodea) contain 4-5 receptor cells, trichoid olfactory sensillae contain 3-4 receptor cells. The cuticular part of the olfactory trichoid hairs has pores. The dendrites of the sensory cells in all type of sensillae contained striated roots and ciliary structures.
