Аннотация:The dependence of the measured resistance of the solutions on the frequency of the current was analyzed. It is shown that at low frequencies, the measured resistance can exceed that required due to polarization processes at the electrodes. At high frequencies as a result of ionic relaxation, the measured resistance may be less than the desired resistance. The contact conductance cell was calibrated by the dielectric constant and conductivity. It has been established that, when used as calibration solutions of KCl, the cell constant depends on the concentration. An equation describing the dependence of the cell constant on the measured resistance is obtained. The conditions are established under which the influence of the measured resistance on the constant of the cell can be ignored.
