- Аннотация: Curves of the differential capacitance of the inner layer on the Hg, Ga, In-Ga, and Tl-Ga electrodes in methanol and ethanol solutions are analyzed in terms of a modified Amokrane-Badiali model. Parameters, obtained for these electrodes correlate with similar parameters found earlier in other solvents. They fit a general proportional dependence between the shift of the maximum in the curve of the solvent capacitance and a parameter characterizing the disturbance of the metal electron plasma due to the metal’s chemisorption interaction with the solvent. Effects of the metal/solvent chemisorption interaction on the capacitance of the inner layer of EDL are easily explainable in terms of the modified approach not only in the domain of monotonie variation of the capacitance with charge but also near points of extremums. © 1999 MAEe cyrillic signK "Hayκa/Interperiodica" † Deceased.
