Аннотация:Use of a dye laser as excitation source has made it possible to decrease the detection limit for sodium by 3 orders of magnitude compared with the value obtained by a line excitation source (VSB-2 lamp). To determine sodium by lase atomic fluorescence, it is better to use propane/air flame instead of acetylene/air flame. The accuracy of the results is sufficient for practical purpose in the work under saturation conditions (low sodium concentrations).
