A. tzetlini has big size, there are six windows between its compartments. The lateral plates have feeble radial internal ribs. The scutum has the radial striation. This species is characterized by a unique maxilla I as its teeth have some delicate thorns on their surface. It was found at a depth of 4 m, 2-3,5 m and 2-12 m in the sponge of the family Axinellidae.
