- Аннотация: A method is proposed for recalculating the charge dependence of the metallic capacitance intrinsic to the Hg electrode (that is, the Cm-1 vs. q curve), which allows for hydrophilicity of the Ag(111) single crystal face. The curves pertaining to the differential capacitance of the inner layer are analyzed in the framework of the modified Amokrane-Badiali model, using the corrected (Cm-1)cor vs. q curve of the Hg electrode, for the Ga and In-Ga electrodes in water, dimethylformamide, and dimethyl sulfoxide. The shift of the maximum in the solvent capacitance curve is found to be directly proportional to the parameter that describes perturbation of electronic plasma of the metal during its chemisorptive interaction with the solvent. The interaction strength is found to correlate with the solvent donor numbers. © 1996 MAИK Hayκa/Interperiodica Publishing.
