- Аннотация: The evolution of a small ball in the phase space of a Markov shift is considered. Under some conditions on the ball size and the observation time it is shown that the metric entropy of the system corresponding to an arbitrary ergodic invariant measure is closely related to the deformation rate of the ball boundary.
