Аннотация:A correlative analysis of the relationship between the surface activity of Cr, Br- and I- anions at an electrode/solution interface and the donor-acceptor properties of the solvent was carried out. Data from the literature on the zero-charge potential shift in 0.1 M solutions of the corresponding salts in water, acetonitryl, dimethylsulfoxide, dimethylformamide, and N-methylformamide were used to estimate the surface activity of these anions on mercury, gallium, and also In-Ga and Tl-Ga alloys. It was found that in the absence of a solvent the bond energy of halogen ions with the metal surface increases in the series I- < Br- < Cr, and for a given anion it increases from Hg to Ga (i.e., it qualitatively follows the change in the dissociation energy of the corresponding gaseous monohalides).
