Аннотация:The dependence of capacitance C(s) and resistance R(s) of ideally polarizable electrodes on ac frequency which is due to processes of current redistribution between the adsorption capacitance and the electrode's high-frequency capacitance was analyzed by means of model calculations. The ratio of these two capacitances is always negative for surface-inactive ions. It was shown that this kind of dispersion behavior of C(s) and R(s) differs substantially from the dispersion arising from a finite time of relaxation of the diffuse-layer charges.
