Аннотация:The study develops previous research of the authors reported in SPECOM 2017 which established the specific Canadian English (CE) lexical stress pattern of secondary stress located after the main stress as more frequent than in British English (BE) and American English (AE). Methods of corpus analysis and overall lexicon analysis provided support of the rhythmical lexical stress location. The impact of the French language contact accounts for the right-edge prominence in CA, which is evidenced by data on the comparison between Ontario and Quebeck provinces. Thus the digital identity of CA compared to BE and AE based on the overall analysis of the lexicon in the dictionaries and spoken corpus data was verified.
