Аннотация:A method for functional patterning of the facets of a nonlinear crystal based on focused ion beam milling is developed. A near-field diffraction at periodic gratings is studied experimentally and theoretically. The periodicity of the structure enables Talbot self-imaging at fundamental and second harmonic frequencies simultaneously. Spatial interference patterns for both harmonic frequencies are not the scaled counterparts but are individual ones, which can enable more precise optical testing, coupling the radiation at both frequencies and wavelength-division demultiplexing.
