Аннотация:The dynamical deformation of an excited oriented nucleus is studied as a function of its static deformation and the degree of spin orientation. It is shown that the dynamical deformation, which usually is quite different from the static deformation, is significantly different for the same nucleus in a given state, but produced in different reactions, i.e., having different degrees of orientation. The analysis demonstrates clearly that in reactions characterized by a large number of intermediate angular momenta (channel spins, transferred orbital angular momenta, and so on) the static deformation of the final nucleus is nearly absent, and therefore the characteristics of such reactions can be calculated assuming that the participating nuclei are spherical.
