Аннотация:A fluorescence polarization immunoassay for detection of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) was developed. Fluorescein-labeled tracers based on different PAHs were synthesized and studied in order to achieve a high sensitivity using both monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies. The application of different combinations of antibody tracer pairs allows to separately determine groups of small and large PAHs or to realize a class-specific assay. The limits of detection of PAHs were 0.9, 1.1, and 3.4 ng ml 21 for benzo[a] pyrene, naphthalene, and anthracene, respectively. The developed fluorescence polarization immunoassay could be used for rapid screening of natural water samples for contamination with PAHs.
