Аннотация:In order to provide basic materials for
geodynamic and tectonic reconstruction of the
Arctic region, we investigated Permo-Triassic to
Early-Middle Triassic gabbroic rocks of tabular
bodies in shelf and continental slope sediments
of eastern Chukotka. These rocks, which are here
referred to as the Anyui dike-and-sill province, are
represented by gabbro, Fe-Ti gabbro, and gabbroic
diorite assumed to be cogenetic to each other. The
rocks from different tabular bodies can be originated
from variably differentiated portions of melts at
similar pressure and temperature conditions. The
rocks show geochemical features of crustally
contaminated intra-plate basaltic lavas and are
geochemically similar to Permo-Triassic continental
plateau basalts of the platformal (or the trap) stage of
the Siberian large igneous province.
