Аннотация:The results of both simultaneous observations by three sodars and two nocturnal travels of moving sodar in Moscow are presented. "Heat island" affects obviously the frequency of stratification types: surface inversions are formed later and ruined earlier in the city centre as compared to rural zone, whereas the thermal convection in the city centre, vice versa, appears earlier and goes to nothing later than in suburbs. The first travel indicated an inversion (at least, a weak-stable layer) on city periphery and nearly indifferent stratification in the centre. The second one indicated small difference between top heights of turbulized inversion layer in various places (possibly, slightly higher top values at the foot of a slope as compared to its peak and in the city centre as compared to peripheries). The ground NO2 concentrations, unlike the SO2 ones, increase in inversion conditions.
