Аннотация:DTA, TPR, X-ray phase analysis, and magnetic susceptibility measurements were employed to investigate the interactions in NiO-MoO3 (MoO2) systems upon thermal treatment in air and H-2. The presence of NiO decreases the starting temperature of MoO, reduction by >150 K due to atomic H spillover from Ni to MoO3. At the same time, the retardation of NiO reduction takes place at 573 - 623 K, as a result of NiMox alloy formation. This retardation is not observed for NiO + MoO, samples, and the NiMo, alloy is formed after quantitative NiO reduction. TPR profiles for impregnated NiO/MoO3 depend on the temperature of precalcination in an He flow.
