Аннотация:Applications of information-theoretic and mathematical principles of the study of global/regional changes from multispectral aerospace images are studied using databases of ground observations. The paper considers the formulation of the problem of describing the complexity of the structure of natural objects in an analysis of their image representations in terms of information measures. Based on the example of the study of the coherent structure of satellite images and the results of aircraft measurements of fluxes of carbon dioxide for the territory in which the FIFE 1989 experiment was carried out, it is shown that it is possible to unify measurement data of both types, represented in the form of numerical values of the information content.
