Аннотация:For more than 60 years, the long-term field experiments with fertilizers (LTEs) of the Geonet have served as the information base for the scientific support of the efficient, environmentally balanced, and economically feasible application of fertilizers, the importance of which significantlyincreases and goes beyond the scope of agricultural sciences because the evolutionof agroecosystems is largely associated not only with the environmental and economic issues but also with the social conditions of the population. It is a challenge to expand the results of LTEs to a landscape level with the use of GIS tools and information technologies; in particular, it is important to delineate the most promising areas for agricultural intensification and target fertility management without damage to the environment.
