Аннотация:Results are presented of photoelectric measurements of light of the fast irregular variable WW Vul made during 1967-1982 in the UBV system. It is established that the fadings in the light of the star have a duration in the million to ten million sec range, with the depth reaching 2.2 m in V. These fadings can be explained by scattering and absorption of light in an inhomogeneous dust envelope consisting of silicate particles of mean radius 0.16 micron and a total number of 10 to the 36th-37th. Under the assumption that the grains are heated to 800-1000 K, the observed radiation excess of WW Vul in the range 1.65-3.4 microns can be explained. It is argued that there is heated gas in the envelope of WW Vul, whose radiation is superimposed on the emission from the star.
