Аннотация:Abstract—A water-soluble chitosan derivative, chitosan succinamide, was used as a polymer matrix for the formation of silver nanoparticles via ion reduction under microwave irradiation in the presence of a D-glu- cose reducing agent. UV spectroscopy confirmed the presence of silver nanoparticles in the synthesized col- loidal solution. Transmission electron microscopy showed that the synthesized silver nanoparticles had a spherical shape. The obtained diffractograms confirm the presence of reflexes characteristic of the crystal lattice of metallic silver. In vitro studies showed that the synthesized colloidal solution of silver nanoparti- cles exhibits pronounced antibacterial activity against strains of the gram-positive bacteria Bacillus subtilis ATCC 6633 and Bacillus coagulans 429.
