Аннотация:The nitrogen doped glassy carbonaceous materials were obtained on thermolysis of melamine and phenolphthalein mixtures at 500 °C. Samples in amorphous carbon with 60–100 wt% of phenolphthalein form a single-phase nitrogen solid solution in glassy carbon. IR and Raman spectroscopy prove nitrogen to chaotically substitute carbon in these solutions. Maximal concentration of 21.0 wt% N has material with brutto formula C100H52.5N25.7O6.4. The electric resistivity of that sample is 290 Ohm*m, dramatically 34,000 times lower than resistivity of undoped glassy carbon prepared from phenolphthalein (107 Ohm*m). The C3N4 has resistivity of about 1011 Ohm*m.
