- Аннотация: The analysis of patent document sources’ databases was held at the current work. It is established that the directions of innovative developments are directed mainly studying separate taxonomical units of plants among, which leaders are the sorts Curcuma (12528 patents), Zingiber (12515), Dioscorea (4940), Coix (4756), Lycium (4697). China comes to the forefront by the number (78%) of patents, the Russian Federation covers 1,15% of patents of total number for the studied period. The highest (more than 20%) number of patents is registered in 2016. The main R&D vectors are revealed.
