Аннотация:The article substantiates the need to form an IT-oriented mechanism for enterprise development management. The priority tasks for the enterprise in the sphere of tourism are allocated for its development. The groups of indicators for assessing the types of enterprise potential and general functions of managing its development are given. The approaches to managing the development of an enterprise and possible «problematic points of comparison» are differentiated. The necessity of forming an IT-oriented enterprise development management mechanism based on the ISO / IEC 27001 standard has been substantiated. To improve the management of the tourism industry enterprise development, it is proposed to use information technologies of the TravelLine (TL) concept
