Аннотация:The article is dedicated to the genre of the lecture-performance. The case analysed is Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening in the Meyerhold Centre in Moscow. Created and performed by the playwright Ekaterina Bondarenko and the professional dancer and choreographer Tatiana Gordeeva together, it explores the perception of a space through the body and of a female body in public space. Combination of body means and text, interactive and enclosed ways of communication with public, academic and artistic dimensions contributes to the new poetics of non-virtuosic, casual body that can be in the same time the object and the subject of narration, dance and research. Getting naked while making an academic report, the performers enforce the experiment on the ability to look at a woman body not in a voyeristic way.
