Аннотация:A new photometric procedure for the determination of fluoride ion based on its destruction of zirconium-gallocyanin MS complex is described.
The method exhibits great selectivity towards fluoride compared to alkaline-earth, non-ferrous and rare-earth metals, iron, sulfate, nitrate, and phosphate ions and allows to carry out the determination of fluoride in complex objects complex without a preliminary separation of matrix components. The linear range of the quantitative determination of F− was determined to be 0.03 to 2 mg/L with a detection limit of 0.02 mg/L and a correlation coefficient of 0.9989. This method has been successfully applied to the determination of fluorides in natural waters, metallurgic wastewaters, cryolite and condensates of volcanic gases and has good convergence with the results of potentiometric analysis.
