- Аннотация: Occitan language belongs to Gallo-Romance subgroup of Romance group within Indo-European language family. Its development history involves three stages: Old Occitan (V-XV centuries), Middle Occitan (XV-XVIII centuries), New Occitan (from the XIXth century to the present). The work is aimed at analyzing Occitan language’s development and formation history as well as at identifying main factors that influenced its development.
