Аннотация:The new ternary compounds Yb1(Pt,Pd)1(Si,Ge)1, Yb1(Pt,Pd)2(Si,Ge)1 and Yb1(Pt,Pd)2(Si,Ge)2 have been prepared and characterized. The crystal structures of the compounds have been determined by X-ray analysis. The temperature dependence of the electrical conductivity and the magnetic susceptibility at 4.2-300K was studied. The two compounds demonstrate ferromagnetic ordering at low temperatures. The part of compositions show a Kondo-like behavior of the electrical resistivity near T=100K and a considerable reduction of the magnetic momentum at low temperatures. It has been shown that reduction of Yb3+ moment cannot arise from CEF effects only but is mainly due to Kondo-process. An analysis of the possibility of the Kondo-processes and magnetic ordering in dependence on crystal environment of rare - earth ions is presented.
